Saturday afternoon the Lincoln Kiwanis Club served up ham and beans, cornbread, and a wide variety of desserts for hungry diners.

The Kiwanis Club raises money that the club in turn uses to support programs for area youth. Their work includes awarding scholarships, recognizing outstanding 4-H youth, and they sponsor a children's summer day camp in conjunction with Community Action.

For this event, Stu Churchill said that the goal was to serve 200 meals. By just a little after noon they had already served over half their goal.
