DeWitt-Logan retired teachers meet April 10

[April 10, 2013]  CLINTON -- The quarterly meeting of the DeWitt-Logan unit of the Illinois Retired Teachers Association will be on April 10 at 10:30 a.m. at the Clinton United Methodist Church. (This is a change of location. See details below.) The program will be presented by Pam Kogler, administrative services manager, and Lesley Booth, Medicare coordination of benefits supervisor. Both come from Central Management Systems and are specialists in the Teachers' Retirement Insurance Program. They will present information on coordination of benefits with Medicare.

The Illinois Retired Teachers Association is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization of retired educators. The association serves the needs and interests of its members through advocacy, education, cooperation and socialization in a flexible organizational structure. Membership is open to all retired and active teachers and their spouses.

April 10, 2013 -- Notice of change of location

Due to the recent fire at Ted's Garage in Clinton, this meeting location has been changed.

It will now be at the Clinton United Methodist Church

Here are driving directions to the church:

Coming from the east or west on Routes 54/10: Turn north on Madison Street at the stoplight by the IGA store. The church is directly north on the east (right-hand) side of the street. Park in the rear parking lot and come in through the back door. Great Hall is upstairs (an elevator is available just inside the back door).

Coming from the north or south on Route 51: Turn east onto Van Buren (light at the Walgreens/Mobil intersection). Continue east to the next stoplight (Monroe Street) and turn north (left). The church is directly north on the east (right-hand) side of the street.  Park in the rear parking lot and come in through the back door. Great Hall is upstairs (an elevator is available just inside the back door).
