By 7 a.m. Thursday, the Laughlin Center on the campus of Lincoln Christian University was already filling rapidly with folks who came out to enjoy an excellent Guzzardo breakfast and applaud 14 young people who are this year's Lincoln/Logan Chamber of Commerce Ag Scholarship recipients.

This year 24 Logan County young people applied for the $1,000 cash scholarships. The scholarships are to be used for education expenses as these students enter or return to college. One of the primary qualifications to be eligible for the scholarship is that the student pursue an education in an agricultural field.
