The American Cancer Society booth


Kids see what smoking can do to the lungs, from congestion to cancer.

 

The Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois booth

At the Community Action booth, kids learned about nutrition for strong bones.
 

The SIU School of Medicine Simmons Cancer Institute booth featured the familiar face of Kristi Lessen, formerly of ALMH and the Healthy Communities Partnership in Lincoln.

Lessen had kids "on the mat," teaching them exercises to stretch and relax their backs.

The Hartsburg-Emden FFA talked to students about PTO safety, a big concern in an agricultural community such as Logan County.
