Illinois grain prices in country elevators

[March 27, 2013]  SPRINGFIELD -- This is Tuesday's report of the grain prices and trends, prepared by the USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Illinois country grain prices were mixed on Tuesday afternoon, with corn lower and soybeans and wheat higher.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were 6 cents lower at 7.25-7.52.

Soybean bids were 9 cents higher at 14.35-14.53.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were 3 cents lower at 7.38-7.53.

Soybean bids were 9 to 13 cents higher at
14.55-14.68.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 6 to 8 cents lower at 7.14-7.60.

Soybean bids were mostly 11 cents higher at 14.55-14.78.

Wheat bids were 4 to 5 cents higher at 7.20-7.47.
