LC baseball results
[March 27, 2013] Lynx baseball went 1-3 over the weekend versus Lincoln Land.

The Lynx got off to a good start in the first game, winning 10-3
with a great overall game. In game two, Lincoln lost 2-1 in 11 innings, but had a great pitching performance from freshman Cody Bolen (Hartem), who went nine innings, giving up only one run. Lincoln did get out of a bases-loaded, no-out situation with Lincoln Land's third, fourth and fifth hitters up in the 10th on a strikeout, strikeout and 4-3 groundout. In games three and four on Saturday, the Lynx bats stayed asleep, with a total of 11 hits on the day as LC lost 6-1 and 2-0. Andrew Bietenduval (Cincinnati, Ohio) had a complete-game performance. "Our pitching and defense was outstanding all week, but our offense could not come up with any run support after game one," said LC head coach Tony Thomas.
