Dorothy Pusey, 89, of Middletown, formerly of
Peoria, died Sunday, May 5, 2013, at the Christian Nursing Home.

Dorothy Pusey, 89, of Middletown, formerly of
Peoria, passed away May 5, 2013 at The Christian
Nursing Home.
Visitation will be from 10AM until 11AM Wednesday,
May 8, 2013 at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral
Home in Lincoln. Funeral services will be 11AM
on Wednesday also at the funeral home with Paul
Boatman, Safe Haven Hospice Chaplain, officiating.
Burial will be in Bushnell Cemetery at 2PM on
Wednesday.
Dorothy was born October 24, 1923 in Ellisville,
IL., the daughter of Elmer and Grace (Chasteen)
Ruark. She married Clyde Pusey in 1945. He preceded
her in death on September 4, 1985.
Surviving are her children: Sandra Coffey and Terrie
Sparks both of Middletown, IL and Donny Pusey of
Bartonville, IL. She is also survived by 10
grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her
husband Clyde, her brother Eugene Ruark, and her
granddaughter Wendy Shurmard.
Dorothy worked in the carnival business her whole
life. She enjoyed working in the yard and playing
Bingo.
Memorial donations may be made to Safe Haven Hospice
or to The Christian Village and will be accepted at
the funeral home.
