Sunday afternoon, Lincoln Christian University's Laughlin Center was abuzz with activity as dozens of walkers converged for the 14th annual Lincoln MS Walk.

The walk is organized each year by Nancy Ireland and is at Kickapoo Creek Park when weather permits. The event was on the schedule to take place there until Friday, when threats of rain dictated that Ireland find a location that could provide shelter from any storm that might pass through.

Inside the Laughlin Center, tables were set up with souvenirs, including bright orange T-shirts. There was a large array of silent auction items, a large selection of snack food and music by Music 4U DJ Service.

Also on hand was Darlene Begolka selling Tupperware products, with profits going to the MS Walk, and Elizabeth Lord selling Wildtree organic food products, also with profits going to MS.
