Alice enjoyed farm life with her husband and family. Family was the center of her life. She attended many sports and 4-H activities of her children and grandchildren. She rarely missed a game. She loved gardening; meeting with family or friends for a meal, and ladies card club. She was a huge fan of the Chicago Cubs. Alice attended ISU basketball games for many years. She always had a smile and a twinkle in her eye. Alice felt so honored when her great-granddaughter was named after her. She was the best mom, grandma, "GG", and friend to so many. She endured 37 years without the love of her life, J.B. Her faith in God carried her through good times and bad.

A special thanks to the staff at Evergreen Village and Heartland ManorCare, Normal for their loving care. We will never forget their gentle and kind manner making her final days comfortable.
