Lu upsets 5th-seeded Seppi in France

[May 21, 2013]  NICE, France (AP) -- Lu Yen-Hsun of Taiwan upset fifth-seeded Andreas Seppi of Italy 7-5, 1-6, 6-4 Monday to reach the second round of the Nice Open.

Carlos Berlocq of Argentina and Robin Haase of the Netherlands also advanced.

Berlocq did not face a break point in his 6-2, 6-1 win over compatriot Leonardo Mayer, while Haase beat Marinko Matosevic of Australia 6-1, 6-4, breaking serve three times in the opening set and taking a 5-1 lead in the second.
