New Holland-Middletown School celebrates grant award
from State Farm Insurance

MIDDLETOWN -- Students, faculty, family and friends gathered in the gymnasium at New Holland-Middletown School on Wednesday afternoon to celebrate the arrival of a check from State Farm Insurance in the amount of $25,000.

In addition the school was honored to be the first recipient of the Phyllis J. Blaum Music Scholarship, in honor of Mrs. Blaum, who was a dedicated and much-loved music teacher at the school.

Sitting on the left side of the head table were members of the Blaum family, members of the New Holland-Middletown Supports Education community group and school faculty members.


Sitting at the other end of the front table were local State Farm agents Deron Powell and Tracy Olson, Katie Young and Justin Cheger representing Rick Hamm, and agent Chris Coyne.
