The check is handed over to Superintendent Dugan.

Even the younger students are taken aback by the size of the check, both literally and figuratively.

Three generations of Blaums. From the right are Phyllis Blaum's husband, Jack;  daughter Wendy Custis; and granddaughter Courtney Vercler.

Custis presents the school with the first award from the Phyllis J. Blaum Music Scholarship fund.

The $1,000 check will be used for music instruments and music software.

It can't be a celebration without a few tiny, tasty cupcakes.

The State Farm agents pose for a picture with the gifts given to them by the school.

Students wait patiently, kind of, for a trip to the snack table.

New Holland-Middletown Supports Education committee members make sure everything is ready in the cafeteria.

Any time now ...
