The "Gone Buggy" mini theme camp for ages 8-12 will meet at
Kickapoo Creek Park on Friday, June 7, from 8:45 to 11 a.m. in the
large pavilion on the hill. At this "bug-themed" mini camp, youth
will participate in making a door hanger, bug catcher, caterpillar
craft and a snack. The cost of the program is $8, and
preregistration is required. The camp is limited to 20 participants.
A youth "International Cooking Camp" for ages 10-14 will
take place Tuesdays through Thursdays, June 11-13 and June 18-20,
from 9:30 a.m. to noon daily, for a total of six sessions.
Participants will learn authentic ethnic recipes from a different
culture daily, including Greece, Australia, the Caribbean, Mexico,
Germany and India. A main dish and dessert will be prepared each
day. Cost for attendance is $35 for 4-H members, $45 for nonmembers,
and is due at the time of registration. Class size is limited to 10.

"Cooking with Queen Dani," for ages 9-14, is scheduled for
Monday, June 17, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. 2012 Logan County Fair Queen
Dani Juilfs will make super smoothies and a snack with participants.
The cost of $4 covers ingredients, and preregistration is required.
A maximum of 20 participants will be accepted.
Registration and fee payment for these summer programs can be
made in person at the Extension office, 980 N. Postville Drive, on
the northwest corner of the Logan County Fairgrounds by June 3.
