Hartsburg-Emden FFA hosts 75th annual awards night

[May 24, 2013]  HARTSBURG -- The 75th annual awards program for the Hartsburg-Emden FFA was on May 9. Over 100 were in attendance to recognize this anniversary year. The organization thanks the FFA alumni and guests who came to the program.

New officers for the 2013-2014 year are Alicia Clark, president; Natalie Nowatney and Lindsey Strange, co-vice presidents; Noah Schaffer, secretary; Jerrad West, treasurer; Arriana Hoerbert and Meg Meeker, co-reporters; Austin Leonard, sentinel; Megan Neikirk and Daphne Simer, co-historians; and Colton Anderson and Rashaad Stancle, student council representatives.

  • Star Greenhand: Meg Meeker

  • Star Chapter Farmer: Robby Meeker

  • Star Chapter/Section 14 Star/District III Star Agribusiness: Cody Conrady

  • Christopher Gehrke Memorial: Cody Conrady
