 Preliminary: The vehicle was traveling Illinois 121
southbound 1 mile north of Lincoln Parkway, crossed the northbound
lane, left the roadway and traveled into a ditch/embankment before
striking a utility pole and coming to rest. The driver was
pronounced dead at the scene by the Logan County coroner. Illinois
State Police reconstructionist investigated the scene.
