LC coach Mark Tippett commented: "We played very well today, and it is a shame we do not have a match win to show for it. Both of our opponents are strong teams who have the potential to represent their region in the national tournament. We played at a very high level all day, which is what every coach wants to see at the end of the season. The difference in both matches were a handful of long volleys that just did not fall our way. I was proud of our effort and very pleased with how far the team has come this year."

Fourth-seeded Lincoln will host the first round of the Region 24 postseason tournament on Wednesday evening, when fifth-seeded Lewis and Clark will be visiting for a 6 p.m. match. The winner will advance to the final four of the region on Saturday at Rend Lake College.
