Coach Weekly attended the University of South Alabama in 2001-2004
and was named to the all-Sun Belt Conference team three times. Only
two other South Alabama Jaguars have accomplished that feat. Playing
as a 5-foot-9 goalkeeper, she set a school record with 103 saves in
her junior season. She was also named to the 2004 National Soccer
Coaches Association of America/Adidas South Region Scholar Athlete
All-American Team. She currently is third in most career saves
(305) and third in most career shutouts (18) in the University of
South Alabama school history. She holds the second-best career
goals-against average (1.37; minimum 25 games) in school history as
well.

"It's such an honor,'' Weekly said while attending the induction event
Saturday. "When I got the call about being inducted, it just brought
back so many great memories that I had here in my time at South Alabama.
I'm humbled and honored to be recognized today. Soccer paid my way
through graduate school and the career that I have today. I'm teaching
and coaching at a college, so it's easy to reflect back on all the
values that I learned here at South Alabama.''
Weekly is in her seventh season as head coach for the women's
soccer program at Lincoln College. She came to Lincoln after
assisting at Morehead State University for two years. While at
Morehead, she earned a master's degree in criminology. Prior to
Morehead State, Weekly earned a bachelor's degree in criminal
justice from the University of South Alabama.
