Fair helps Syracuse rout Ryerson in exhibition

[November 06, 2013]  SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) -- C.J. Fair scored 15 of his 18 points in the first half, and No. 8 Syracuse routed Ryerson 81-46 in an exhibition game on Tuesday night.

DaJuan Coleman had 11 points for the Orange, and Rakeem Christmas added 10 points and eight rebounds. Freshman guard Tyler Ennis finished with seven points, five assists and four steals.

Syracuse hosts Cornell in its regular-season opener on Friday.

Aaron Best and Adika Peter-McNeilly each had 11 points for the Rams, one of the top teams in Canada.

Syracuse led 39-23 at halftime. Ryerson made two of its first 11 shots from the field and had 14 turnovers in the first half.
