 In the seventh-grade game, Dean Harris hit a 3 to tie the game and
then hit one of two free throws to help the Panthers to a 33-32 win
over Cornerstone Christian. For CEL, Will Ewald had 12 points and
four rebounds; Nick Krumrey, 10 points and five rebounds; Nate
Arnold, five points and nine rebounds; Harris, six points and eight
steals; Xavier Miller, seven rebounds; and Jace McIntosh, two
rebounds.The eighth-grade CEL team won 59-19. Isiah Bowers led
all scorers with 27 points and had 11 rebounds, 11 assists and six
steals. Sam Birnbaum followed with 20 points and nine rebounds. Josh
Vinson added 12 points and six assists, and Jordan Jacobs had three
steals and two assists.
