LC coach Mark Tippett commented: "This was a very frustrating
way to end the season. We started out tight and nervous in the
first set, but sets two and three showed that we were the
stronger team. Lewis and Clark did not give up in set four, and
I think we were surprised by the fact that they kept playing
hard. We tightened up again and let them back in the match
through serving errors and mental mistakes.
"Our team represented Lincoln College with class and good
sportsmanship all year long. I am proud of how much we improved over
the course of the year."
