Each class did their own personal presentation to the veterans, from the pre-K class all the way to the eighth-graders.

Pictures by Nila Smith

The pre-K and kindergarten classes accompanied on the piano by Eleanor Gunderson, sang a song celebrating heroes.

The first group assembled a Veterans Day wreath. Each portion of the wreath represented a different war or conflict the United States has been a part of.

The first- and second-graders performed in two parts.

Children brought forward the different components of the wreath, reciting a part while the teacher added their item to the final product.

The third- and fourth-graders performed the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution and additional recitation.

The second group recited a Veterans Day poem.
