Help Lincoln College fill the food pantry

Pay your admission to the Lincoln Classic with food

[November 13, 2013]  With your help, Lincoln College wants to help fill the local food pantries. This weekend the men's basketball team is hosting the Lincoln Classic at the Jack D. Nutt Arena, with games beginning Friday at 5:30 p.m. and on Saturday at 1 p.m. Entry into the games will be canned goods or nonperishable food items.

Admission for the weekend is as follows:

  • 3 canned goods or nonperishable food items per person = one-day admission pass

  • 5 canned goods or nonperishable food items per person = two-day admission pass

All items donated will be given to the local food pantry to help those in need during this holiday season.

This drive for food donations is planned by the student services and residence life offices at the college.
