[November 18, 2013]  CHICAGO (AP) — A high-ranking Chinese official is set to visit a new children's hospital in Chicago.

Vice Premier Liu Yandong (yen-DUHNG') plans to tour the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago on Monday morning.

The hospital says that the vice premier is interested in seeing the advances in pediatric care that the U.S. has made. The new $855 million hospital opened in downtown Chicago earlier in the year. Patients were moved from Children's Memorial Hospital on the city's North Side.

She'll also attend an invitation-only round-table discussion at the University of Chicago.
