Quilters honor veterans with special events at Castle Manor and St. Clara's

The women who stood by their soldiers during their deployment were also honored.
Each lady was given a lovely beaded flag pin in honor of the sacrifices they made.

 


 


Meanwhile, at Castle Manor, folks came and went throughout the day.
Activity director Penny Tipton kept the party lively.


Each visitor got a chance to see some beautiful patriotic quilts.

  

All the quilts featured red, white and blue materials.
The patterns varied according to the artistic taste of the quilter.
