Kathryn Nobbe, Emily Messner, Ethan Goodey and Rita Harris show their first-place Bible Bowl trophy won at Lutheran High School in Springfield.

ZLS Bible Bowl team takes 1st place [November 20, 2013]  Kathryn Nobbe, Emily Messner, Ethan Goodey and Rita Harris, eighth-graders at Zion Lutheran School in Lincoln, represented ZLS at the Springfield Lutheran High School Bible Bowl.

The ZLS team won the first-place trophy in the eighth-grade division, participating with five other schools: Our Savior's Lutheran of Springfield, St. John Lutheran of Champaign, Concordia Lutheran of Springfield, Trinity Lutheran of Springfield and St. Peter Lutheran of St. Peter.

The ZLS eighth-grade team also won first place as seventh-graders and as sixth-graders.
