[November 20, 2013]  NEW HOLLAND — The kitchen at Slackers will be closed indefinitely due to an extreme loss of money associated with food sales, and the cook quitting. Slackers will continue to offer their very popular handmade pizzas along with a full-service bar.

Slackers will continue Andy's famous "Wing Night" on Thursdays, starting at 5 p.m. Several types of fried wings, an assortment of appetizers and pizzas are offered. There are also two cash drawings on Thursday nights.

The Friday "5:05 Club" tradition will also continue. Every Friday at 5:05, free food is offered to anyone who stops by.

Broken Stone, a modern rock band, will be at Slackers this Saturday, starting at 8 p.m.

Christmas parties are still being planned for the holiday season.
