[November 26, 2013]  Lincoln Christian University is providing a timely opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to get a practical, affordable jump on their college education.

Beginning in the spring, Lincoln's Early Achievement Program, or LEAP, will offer high school students the opportunity to enroll in courses at LCU and receive college credit at a significantly lower tuition rate. In fact, LEAP students will save more than $1,000 off a typical college course.

LEAP courses will be available on campus and online. To qualify, a student must be an enrolled high school junior or senior with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Students must choose from a designated list of LCU 100- or 200-level courses. For courses with prerequisites, students must have those prerequisites fulfilled prior to course approval.

The program allows a maximum of 12 credit hours at the reduced rate prior to high school graduation. Any courses taken after graduation will be charged at LCU's regular tuition rates.
