[October 05, 2013]  The Lincoln College women's soccer team (3-5) fell to Lewis and Clark 9-1 in Lincoln on Wednesday.

Lewis and Clark came out strong and took an early lead. The Lynx were able to get on the board in the second half off a Jacey Johnson corner kick that was headed in by Cassidy Jennings.

Coach Weekly's remarks:

"Lewis and Clark is a very solid team. I don't think our players played poorly; I think we were outmatched by Lewis and Clark's skill level. Lewis and Clark is a high-level team and reflect on the strength of our region. I give the ladies credit for battling for 90 minutes with only two subs. We look to move on from this game and come out strong in our next match against St. Louis Community College."
