Saturday afternoon, though the skies had held rain clouds most of the morning, the sun peeked out and smiled down on a very special set of events at the Humane Society of Logan County.

The twofold event included a dedication of the new Forever Home Pet Cemetery on the shelter's back lawn, and the blessing of the animals who are still with their pet parents, offering them love and loyalty.
