Coach Mark Tippett commented: "Today we took the court with a lot of confidence and played the game well in all phases. Our offense really came to life and we showed more variety in our attack. Our setters did a nice job of spreading the ball around and finding open hitters. We also served very well, which kept the pressure on our opponents. I was pleased with how we played against two teams that had good athletes and made us work for every point. The Oakton match was particularly exciting because the teams battled hard and there were several momentum swings in each set. I was again impressed by how our players were able to keep their composure and come through with plays to win rallies when things got tense. Overall, it was a fun day, and I am looking forward to seeing continued improvement as we head into the second half of the season."
