[October 09, 2013]  The Lincoln Christian University women's soccer team hosted Robert Morris University of Peoria on Saturday afternoon. LCU controlled the game from the beginning and ran away with a 10-2 victory.

LCU was able to grab six goals going into halftime and scored their remaining four goals during the second half. Robert Morris was never able to put pressure on LCU, as the hosts controlled the ball for the entire 90 minutes of the game.

LCU freshman forward Mykenzie Witzke (Clinton/Olivet Nazarene University) led the team with three goals and one assist. Junior Peri Tullock (Robinson/Robinson High) was right behind Witzke, as she scored two goals and had three assists. Junior Moriah Kirkpatrick (Mount Vernon/John A. Logan Community College) recorded one goal and three assists. Senior Jessica Hoskins (Hudson/Heartland Community College) had two goals, while seniors Brooklyn Cunningham (Owosso, Mich./Owosso High) and Ashlan Rose (Chatham/Glenwood High) recorded one goal each.
