The "Spooktacular Evening" is suitable for all ages and includes
historical characters "haunting" the exhibit journeys, special eerie
lighting and music, and spooky storytelling in Union Theater.
There's also a kids' costume contest with prizes, a scavenger hunt,
crafts and games, and a special showing of "Ghosts of the Library."
Refreshments will be provided, and the museum's gift shop will be
open during the evening.
Parents should note that 8-9 p.m. will be enhanced for a slightly
older audience.
The cost is $10 per family. Tickets must be purchased by calling
217-558-8934 or visiting
www.presidentlincoln.illinois.gov.
Children must be accompanied by adults, and adults in costume are
asked to refrain from wearing masks or hoods.
