ATLANTA -- Friday night the Lincoln & Logan County Development Partnership had their second annual nighttime golf outing at North Greens Golf Course.

This year the turnout for the event was larger than last, as more golfers are learning to enjoy the uniqueness of golfing in the dark.

This year 34 golfers competed in nine teams. The evening began with food and friendly conversation. The group then moved to the course for golf.

At the end of night, many came back in and enjoyed the remainder of the food, and waited for winning teams and competitors to be announced.

The winners were as follows:

First-place team -- Steve Strong team
Steve Strong, Gene Williams, Greg Devary and Mike Carter
The first prize was 18 holes of golf at North Greens for each team member.

Second-place team -- Bock & Associates & Abe Lincoln Appraisals
Dan Bock, Dale Meier, Phil Dehner and  Kendell Fitzpatrick
The second prize was a box of golf balls for each team member.

The longest drive went to Jason Haseley, who was awarded a golf umbrella.
Closest-to-the-pin went to Mark Finchum, who was awarded a Nike hat and golf tees
