LCHS swim team takes 2nd in quad meet

The Lady Railers had a close
second-place finish Tuesday night as girls from Lincoln, Charleston,
Olympia and Southeast high schools competed in a quad swim meet. The
team scores were Charleston 144, Lincoln, 139, Olympia 103 and
Southeast 81.

The meet started off with the 200 medley relay of Madi Ewald, Caitlin
Williams, Rachel Stein and Lexy Lanning taking first place
(2:09.89). Regan Dahm and Danielle Burgrabe took second (2:30.0)
and third (2:37.26) respectively in the 200 freestyle.
Lanning took first place in the 50 freestyle (27.55) and a close
second place in the 100 freestyle (1:03.96).
Stein and Burgrabe had a great finish in diving, taking first
(156.85 points) and third places (93.75 points) respectively.
Danielle also took third place in the 100 breaststroke (1:27.52).

Ewald took first place in the 100 butterfly (1:05.21) and 500
freestyle.
The 200 freestyle relay of Ewald, Williams, Stein and Lanning was
just touched out at the wall to take second place (1:55.97).
Hailie Williams had a great swim, taking third in the 100
backstroke (1:23.63).
