MILWAUKEE
-- The Lincoln Christian University women's soccer team traveled
to Milwaukee, Wis., on Tuesday to take on Mount Mary College. For the
second time this season, LCU was able to grab the win, as they beat
Mount Mary 3-2.

With weather conditions in the 60s and the field muddy and damp, LCU
struggled to find consistency on the offensive end, compared with
their last meeting with Mount Mary. When they last met, LCU was able
to rattle off 14 goals, compared with their three goals in this
game. In Tuesday's match, four players recorded goals or assists
for LCU. Senior midfielder Elizabeth Langley
(Mahomet/Mahomet-Seymour High), senior midfielder Moriah Kirkpatrick
(Mount Vernon/John A. Logan Community College) and senior forward
Jessica Hoskins (Hudson/Heartland Community College) each recorded
one goal. Kirkpatrick and senior Peri Tullock (Robinson/Robinson
High) recorded one assist each.
