MOUNT PULASKI -- The Mount
Pulaski volleyball team will host a "Volley for the Cure" on
Thursday evening. The activities will start at 5 p.m. in the
cafeteria with a dinner featuring pork barbecue, potato salad and
dessert. There will also be children's games, a 50-50 drawing and
raffle items donated by many local businesses and individuals.

Mount Pulaski will take the court at 6 p.m. versus Riverton. Both
schools are teaming up to raise money for a local boy, Michael
Stauffer, who has T-cell lymphoma. For several years, area
volleyball teams have supported the Volley for the Cure, which is a
fundraiser for people battling cancer. The evening is always a nice
way to bring communities together to support this cause.
