[October 29, 2013]  The Lincoln Christian University women's soccer team hosted Robert Morris University of Lake County on Saturday at the LCU soccer field. LCU was able to grab a win in their regular-season finale, beating Robert Morris 2-0.

There were Senior Day events at LCU, and the Red Lions came to play as they controlled the game from the start. LCU went up 1-0 in the first half and scored another goal in the second to seal the 2-0 victory.

Freshman midfielder Mykenzie Witzke (Clinton/Olivet Nazarene University) recorded both goals for LCU. The Red Lions took a total of 12 shots on goal, while Robert Morris managed only one, which allowed LCU senior goalie Ashlan Rose (Chatham/Glenwood High) to record the last regular-season save of her career. It also allowed Rose to go out recording her third career shutout at the goalkeeper position.
