Lincoln Daily News
welcomes letters of appreciation, information and
opinion on matters pertaining to the community.
Controversial issues:
As a
community we need to be able to talk openly about
matters that affect the quality of our lives. The
most effective and least offensive manner to get
your point across is to stick to the issue
and refrain from commenting on another person's
opinion. Letters that deviate from focusing on the
issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such.

To all of you who helped with Connie Drake's benefit this past
Sunday: How is it
possible to thank you sufficiently for your time and effort? Words
are incapable of expressing our gratitude for your demonstration of
love for my dear wife. The evening was truly a time of love and
celebration. To see all who came from the community, the churches,
the university, the barbershop world and know that there are many
others who would like to have attended had they been able filled our
hearts to overflowing. Connie and I were amazed at the number of you
who came and shared. We will never forget your love and kindness.
God has blessed us abundantly! May God grant to you all
thanksgiving, comfort and joy! We love you!!

"To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you
before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy -- to
the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority,
through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore!
Amen." -- Jude 1:24-25
