[September 07, 2013]  WASHINGTON -- The LCHS boys soccer team slipped to 1-2-1 with a loss Thursday night to Washington.

The Railers struggled to get anything going offensively, and Washington scored a few minutes before halftime to take a 1-0 lead.

Washington added to their lead midway through the second half, and with 10 minutes to play, tallied the final score of the night as the game ended 3-0.

In goal for the Railers, Kevin Barker played an excellent game, piling up 14 saves.

The Railers return to action Monday at East Peoria, where they will take on Peoria Christian.
