[September 10, 2013]  The Lincoln Christian University women's soccer team hosted regional opponent Maranatha Baptist Bible College for their home opener on Saturday. In a lopsided game, MBBC ran away with the win 11-0.

Maranatha (1-1) scored a quick goal in the first five minutes, which began the onslaught of goals that LCU (1-1) gave up, going into halftime down 7-0.

LCU made a few adjustments to begin the second half, but only succeeded in slowing down MBBC's offense as Maranatha scored four more goals in the half, allowing them to grab their first win of the season and win in double digits.

LCU senior goalkeeper Ashlan Rose (Chatham/Glenwood High) recorded 13 saves on the day.
