There were 70-80 people gathered
in Latham Park at noon Wednesday to pray. Prayers were
offered for our country, state, local government, churches,
petitions for healing, an anointing of God’s Holy Spirit, a return
to God and His will for our lives, as well as a precious outpouring
of worship.
There were several area pastors, elected officials and people from
all walks of life who stood with friends and strangers to pray.
Twelve years ago on Sept. 11, our country was brutally attacked, and we came
together and prayed and flew our flags with a resolve to
overcome. On this day we continued to do the same.
