Sangamon and Ophir Avenue for a brush or brush and
grass mixture fire.

2:15 p.m. -- Assisted EMS in a call to the 200 block
of Bidwell Avenue.

5:23 p.m. -- Call to the 1800 block of Fifth Street
was due to a smoke detector malfunction. No fire.

6:54 p.m. -- Assisted EMS in a call to the 100 block
of South State Street.

10:30 p.m. -- Called to the 700 block of South State
Street for an overheated motor.
