[September 17, 2013]  GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Lincoln Christian University women's soccer team traveled to Grand Rapids, Mich., on Saturday to take on regional opponent Grace Bible College. It was not a happy trip, as Grace romped over LCU 12-1.

It was clearly not LCU's day, as GBC (2-3) came out fast and hard, taking repeated shots on goal against LCU (1-2). LCU's defense could not handle GBC's attack, giving up four goals in the first half and eight in the second. LCU was able to muster only one goal on the game.

LCU senior midfielder Elizabeth Langley (Mahomet/Mahomet-Seymour High) scored LCU's lone goal. In total, Grace took 49 shots compared with LCU's two. LCU's goalkeeper, senior Ashlan Rose (Chatham/Glenwood High), recorded 21 saves on the day.

Next up for LCU is a trip to Blackburn College (1-3) on Wednesday, with kickoff at 2 p.m.
