Delores Hurley used to walk to junior high every day and always looked at the house that is now her home. She and her husband have raised 12 children, with the youngest now 10 years of age, and seven children are still living at home.

Project: New windows will make winter warmer

Matt and Jaime Fish help remove one of 12 windows for the Hurley family.

If she looks familiar, you might recognize Jaime from the Lincoln Public Library.

Inside, crew members were working hard and methodically in hopes of completing the big project in one day.

Clyde Reynolds works beside his pastor, ....

... Mark Evans of Trinity Episcopal, removing kitchen windows, as ....

... Randy Hurley assists.

Even the squirrel that the kids love to feed feels at home.

Out back, a few of the Hurley kids enjoy the fall day.
