[September 23, 2013]  The Young Professionals Network of Logan County will host downtown loft tours on Wednesday at 6 p.m. The group will meet at Sam Sorrento's Pizzeria downtown at 6, and tours will begin promptly at 6:15.

This event is for 20- and 30-somethings who want to discover the growth and opportunity that lies within Lincoln and Logan County.

There is no admission fee for this event. Following the tours, there will be pizza and appetizers at Sorrento's. Feel free to bring any special beverages if you want something other than soft drinks.

This event is sponsored by MMIL Properties and Edward Jones, Bob Neal.

The next YPN event will be on Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. in the Lincoln Community High School auditorium. Speakers Jack Shultz, author of "Boomtown USA," and Craig Lindvahl, founder of a CEO program in Effingham, will talk about how millennial entrepreneurs, young people under the age of 29, are quickly transforming communities. Schultz will show how to create a community that encourages the entrepreneurial spirit. The Oct. 21 event is open to everyone.

The Young Professionals Network is designed for individuals in their 20s and 30s who work in Lincoln and Logan County. The purpose of this group is to connect young professionals with one another, to build strong relationships, to grow together and develop ties to the community.
