LCU men's soccer wins big over CCCB

[September 25, 2013]  MOBERLY, Mo. -- The Lincoln Christian University men's soccer team traveled to Moberly, Mo, on Saturday to take on Central Christian College of the Bible. In their earlier game this season, LCU beat CCCB 5-1, and in similar fashion won again, 4-0.

With junior starting goalie Logan Arney (Effingham/Effingham High) still unable to play due to an injury, freshman David Lucas (Hebron, Ind./Hebron High) stepped up and held CCCB scoreless throughout the game, earning his first collegiate shutout.

Sophomore mid-fielder Parker Radecki (Greenwood, Ind./Center Grove High) led the offensive attack for LCU as he recorded two goals and one assist. Senior forward Craig Hoskins (Bloomington/University High) was right behind Radecki as he recorded one goal and two assists. Sophomore mid-fielder Mitchel Burgener (Olney/East Richland High) also recorded one goal.

LCU returned to action Tuesday, hosting MacMurray College at 2 p.m.
