EAST PEORIA -- On Thursday, the
Lincoln College volleyball team traveled to East Peoria to play No. 12
Illinois Central College. Lincoln lost the match in three sets 13-25,
14-25, 15-25.

LC coach Mark Tippett commented: "We showed the ability to hang
in there with ICC early on in each set. We played well on defense
and created opportunities to score, but in each set we stalled in
the middle and gave up a lot of points in a short amount of time.
The final scores did not reflect how well we played against them for
much of the match."

Lincoln is now 8-12 on the year and 2-3 in the region.
Lincoln is off until Tuesday, when they host Kankakee Community
College for a 6 p.m. home match.
