Mt Pulaski- Norma Judith Bobell, 84, passed away at 2:19 P.M. on March 30, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Norma was born on March 29, 1930 in Hopedale, IL; daughter of Charles and Gladys Lowman Bree. She married Gary Bobell on May 6, 1951 in Lincoln, IL; he survives her in Mt. Pulaski. She was a member of Broadwell Christian Church and was the Logan County Fair Queen in 1946.

Also surviving are her children: Kathy McDougald of Bloomington, IL; Beth (Dale) Tanke of Sherman, IL; Susan (Michael) Selenik of Mt Pulaski, IL; one brother: Lowell Bree of Havanh, IL; six grandchildren: Landon McDougald, Mirrin McDougald, Damon Tanke, David Tanke, Brian Tanke, and Bree Selenik. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services for Norma will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday April 4, 2014 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt Pulaski, IL. Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. Thursday April 3, 2014 also at the funeral home. Burial at Steenbergen Cemetery will follow the service. Memorials may be given to the Humane Society of Logan County or Mt Pulaski Historical Society.
