Saturday morning, 70 vendors representing various health concerns set up inside the Lincoln Park District Sports Center. They were soon rewarded for giving up their Saturday, as hundreds flocked to the park district to take advantage of the many learning opportunities provided by the vendors.

This year the theme for the health fair was "5-2-1-0 — Be a Healthy Hero." The numerology is a recipe for a healthy lifestyle. In order to help maintain good health, each person should:
Eat 5 fruits or veggies daily.
Spend 2 hours or less of computer or TV time.
Participate in 1 hour per day of active play.
Consume 0 sugary drinks.
