Mary "Pauline" Rothwell, 88, of Lincoln, died Saturday, April 5,
2014, at her home.

Lincoln: Mary "Pauline" Rothwell, 88, of Lincoln
passed away Saturday April 5, 2014 at her home.

Pauline was born on February 17, 1926 in Harrisburg,
IL to Cletus and Mary Von Linin Jones. She was a
professional librarian at the Illinois State Library
in Springfield for 27 years. She was a member of the
Association for Library Collections and Technical
Services as well as an avid reader and loved to
garden. Pauline was also a bridge club member in Mt.
Pulaski for over 25 years.
Surviving are three daughters, Marsha O'Brien of
Lincoln, Barbara Jones of Lincoln, Gail (Michael)
Wood of Newburgh, IN, 16 grandchildren, 9
great-grandchildren and two great-great
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
parents and two brothers Frank and Carroll.
Pauline requested that her body be donated to
science. There will be no services.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln
handled the arrangements. Memorials may be made to
the Humane Society of Logan County.
